No DAPL
Stand with Standing Rock
The controversial Dakota Access Pipeline is operating on Treaty Land of the Oceti Sakowin Oyate, and crosses the Missouri River, immediately upstream of the Standing Rock Indian Reservation. It is operating without a federally approved easement that is required by law. Oil spill from DAPL could pollute the drinking water source for the Tribe and 15 million people downstream. The GPTWA supports the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in their efforts to shut down DAPL.
